Girl Scouts of
Western Ohio has reviewed our summer camp offerings, and we have
established a new summer camp schedule that reflects the best of our
history to create a diverse set of camp opportunities - with
something for every girl. Adam Cassi, Camp Director, is pleased to share a sneak peek
of what we've got planned for an exciting summer like never before:

We
will maximize the talents of our outstanding camp
staff by sharing them between two resident camps.
-
Perennial favorites, such as
You Can't Do that
at Camp,
Little Camp on the
Prairie,
Spa Days,
Dr. Dolittle's,
and Hogwarts
Express, are coming back.
-
There will be several new, fun programs like
Ropes and Reins,
Cartoon
Princesses,
Girl vs. Wild,
Glitter Bugs,
and On the Trail.
-
Fun-filled resident camp mini-sessions will be
offered throughout the summer.
-
Girls will have lots of exciting choices with
adventure challenge programs, older girl leadership
opportunities, and progressive horse programs.
-
High adventure trips have been revamped and improved
with options like Coaster Craze, Caving
Adventure, West Virginia Adventure Trip, and
Surf and Turf Sailing.
-
Family camp opportunities, such as Me & My Gal,
Family Let's Play Day, and Weekend in the
Woods, will be available council-wide.
It is our goal to
provide girls with the best programs, traditions, policies, and
practices for a consistent, high-quality resident camp experience
council-wide. More details will become available in the coming
months, and the 2010 Summer Camp Opportunities brochure will be
online in January 2010.
