 Bleed Green for a Cause

Would you like to save lives while helping the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio?
This February, Hoxworth Blood Center is holding Bleed for a Cause, challenging area charitable non-profit organizations to recruit blood donors.  It sounds nice, but this is a blood battle!  Girl Scouts of Western Ohio will be competing with other nonprofits to see who can score the most points by recruiting blood donors.  The stakes are high.  The top charity wins $10,000 in cash!!  (Second place wins $5,000 and third place earn s $2,500.)
Bleed for a Cause is sponsored by Montgomery Inn and Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America.  Thanks to their generosity and commitment to the community, this competition will reward the top three charities with direct financial support.  Girl Scouts is encouraging our friends, family, volunteers, community members and alumnae to give blood in the name of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio during February.  We earn points for each donation.  The three charities with the most points are the winners!
