 Council Sponsored Program Opportunities Listing

Council Sponsored Opportunities are hosted by Girl Scouts of Western Ohio through paid and volunteer staff and are open to registered Girl Scout members throughout the council.  These opportunities offer troops or individual girls a chance to meet other girl and adult members from within the council’s jurisdiction. These opportunities are designed to meet the needs of girls beyond the resources available through the troop, community and GSUSA opportunities.  Council property is often used to host these events, though some of them are hosted at other sites.

Girls should be involved in selecting which council sponsored opportunities they would like to attend based on their journey, badge work and service projects.  Help the girls connect their experience through these opportunities to their entire Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
