In September 2011, GSUSA will debut The Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting
. Girls at each grade level will have their own Girl’s Guide. There will be three sections in each guide including: Handbook, Badges, and My Girl Scouts. These sections include a variety of skill building badge offerings, handbook sections covering traditions, cookie badges, faith based recognitions, an awards log and much more. The Great News chart shows how the Girl Scout journeys
and the Girls Guide to Girl Scouting work together to help girls achieve the 15 Leadership Outcomes of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
In addition to the badges that come with every Girl’s Guide, girls can choose to do skill building badges that correspond with the three leadership journeys. There will be an additional Skill Building Activity set for It’s Your World-Change It, It’s Your Planet-Love It! and It’s Your Story-Tell It!
