In a few short months, thousands of
Girl Scout members will gather in Indianapolis
for open, direct conversation and important action as we
collectively write the next chapter in the story of our
Movement. The meeting design will encourage wide-ranging
discussion of issues that matter most. Delegates will
also deliberate on six proposals before the national
council. In the weeks and months ahead, Girl Scouts of
the USA will take a “multi-media” approach to
collaborating with councils to prepare for the national
council session. Watch for information to be updated on
our website. Start planning
today… and come to Indianapolis prepared to be
surprised!

What hotel will we be staying at and how do I make
reservations?
No information on
housing has been received at this time. Double rooms
will be reserved for those visitors that register by
the June 2 deadline. Due to the large number of
delegates and alternates attending, and the room
limitations from Girl Scouts of the USA, there is no
guarantee that everyone will be staying at the same
hotel. Payment for housing must be received by
September 30, 2008.
Will there be any meetings prior to the convention?
There are no specific
meeting dates established at this time. All
registrants will be notified of any planning
meetings.
