Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is one of 150 Girl Scout councils that make up Girl Scouts of the USA - the largest voluntary organization for girls in the world.
In order to provide our adult volunteer leadership with community resources that may help them deliver the Girl Scout program to girls, we compile a list of community resources for use on our website and in print publications. These resources may be used to plan Girl Scout program activities and also serves as a reference guide for adults who are looking for additional training/education opportunities.
Your organization may be listed in one of two ways:
REQUIREMENTS Program and safety standards are paramount when working with girls. Staff at all facilities must be willing to provide activities in a safe atmosphere and help Girl Scouts to make progress in achieving at least one of four Girl Scout program goals:
