Blended Learning (Online) - First Aid with Adult, Child and Infant CPR

The American Red Cross Blended Learning First Aid/CPR/AED program prepares individuals to respond to injuries and sudden illnesses that may arise in the workplace and the community. These courses offer a combination of self-paced online study and testing with an instructor-led skills practice and assessment session to meet the training needs of employers and their employees as well as the community.

Each blended learning course is divided into two sessions. Participants must first complete the self-paced online session, which includes a written exam, and then successfully complete an instructor-led skills a practice and assessment session in order to achieve certification.

Because this is a web based application you will need an Internet browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Netscape 6.2 or higher). Content is in Portable Document format (PDF) and Macromedia Flash Player.

You will be participating in strenuous activities during the skills practice and assessment classroom session, such as performing CPR on the floor. If you have a medical condition or disability that may prevent you from taking part in the classroom skills session, or if you have any questions about you ability to participate fully in this course, discuss them with your health care provider or a member of the adult development function at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
