Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is one of 150 Girl Scout councils that
make up Girl Scouts of the USA - the largest voluntary organization
for girls in the world.
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio serves over 50,000 girls in a 32
county area in western Ohio and southeast Indiana. More than 16,000
trained adult volunteers work to provide services and deliver the
program to girls.
In order to provide our adult
volunteer leadership with community resources that may help them
deliver the Girl Scout program to girls, we compile a list of
community resources for use on our website and in print
publications. These resources may be used to plan Girl Scout program
activities and also serves as a reference guide for adults who are
looking for additional training/education opportunities.
Your organization may be listed in one
of two ways:
-
Community-Sponsored
Opportunities - this listing is for organizations/facilities
that offer activities/events that have specific dates and times
at your location that are specifically for Girl Scouts.
These opportunities will be listed on our website and in our
print program opportunity publication.
-
Community Resource
Directory - this listing is appropriate of those places that
are flexible in providing resources for activities based on your
organization's needs and the needs of the troop/group.
These listings will be listed in a database on our website.
