Hey, hey Girl Scouts! Now that you are older girl, there are a lot of opportunities available to you through Girl Scouting. From attending a Destination ​to earning the Girl Scout Silver and Gold Awards​, there is plenty to do. These opportunities can also impact your future in a big way by broadening your experiences, building new skills, helping you make new connections in the community and building your resume.

​A select group of girls will plan and implement an international service trip with the support of dedicated volunteers who have travel and service experience. Girls will spend six months planning their trip resulting in engaging in a one-week international travel opportunity including both cultural immersion and service. Possible service opportunities include working with at risk children, conservation projects, construction projects or empowering women. These meaningful volunteer opportunities will allow girls to gain lasting skills and insight into another culture and the value of service for both the recipient and the provider. This experience will also create an opportunity for extensive crosscultural learning and will include opportunities for girls to engage in planning, budgeting and money earning.
