Family Partnership
Family Partnership is a key component of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio’s Annual Giving fundraising campaign. Families contribute voluntary financial support when they can, during each Girl Scout membership year. By supporting Family Partnership, parents and other adults play a vital role in helping us ensure that Girl Scouts is available for every girl who wishes to participate. This includes financial assistance for girls to participate in Girl Scouting, council sponsored events, outdoor and camping opportunities, as well as volunteer recruitment, training and enrichment. It costs between $300 - $400 per year to provide Girl Scouting to one girl. This amount includes financial support from parents and troops – which shows how important your support of Family Partnership really is!

Options for Family Partnership Donations

Contribute to Family Partnership using the “One Check – One Time” method. As you complete your annual Membership Registration form, simply check the “I would like to contribute” box on the bottom of the registration form. Your gift is tax-deductible, and your contribution can be written on the same check as the membership registration fee.

Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to find out if your company has a Matching Gift program. Matching Gifts are monetary donations employers match, in-whole or in-part, to an employee’s contribution to Family Partnership. This is a great way to increase the amount of one’s gift to Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.

Encourage others to contribute to Family Partnership. Share your troop or your daughters’ Girl Scout story. Talk about the skills girls develop, places girls visit or friends girls make in Girl Scouting. You know first hand the difference the Girl Scout program makes for girls in your community.

Family Partnership isn’t about how much you give – it’s about giving what you can to make a difference in your community. Family Partnership begins at home with the adults, volunteers, families, and girls that make up our large family of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
